Tri-Swim-Bike

Stopsley Striders is affiliated to Triathlon England the English national body within the British Triathlon Federation BTF. Like our affiliation to England Athletics EA as part of UKA, it means that club members who join the BTF can compete in triathlons as a Stopsley Strider, with the insurance cover and not having to pay for a day licenses.
This will not affect the majority of club members but if you compete in say three or four events per year then it is worth considering joining BTF.
The benefits being:
- not paying for the day race license
- cover for public liability and personal accident insurance even when training
- eligibility to compete at English and GB level as an age-grouper
- the BTF magazine, some discounts and other bits
The benefit to the club is in maintaining membership by supporting multi-disciplined training and attracting new members who have an interest in triathlon.
